Share Your Expertise and Knowledge at Potato Expo 2025!
We invite you to submit proposals for the Potato Expo 2025 that highlight cutting-edge advancements in potato production agriculture, reveal innovative on-farm solutions, spotlight emerging trends, or inspire and ignite creativity within the industry.
Session Types
1. Potato Talks on the Expo Stage
- Format: 20-minute sessions, followed by 10 minutes of one-on-one Q&A.
- Participants: Single speaker or panel discussion (maximum of three participants, including moderator).
- Focus: Engage attendees with concise and impactful presentations.
- Location: The Expo Stage is located in the Expo Hall.
2. Panel Discussions Breakout Session
- Format: 30-40 minute sessions.
- Participants: Panel discussion (maximum of four participants, including moderator).
- Focus: Dive deep into topics such as production, consumer insights, research, labor, trade, policy and technology in a theater setting accessed directly from the Expo Hall.
3. Single Speaker Breakout Session
- Format: 20-30 minute sessions, including Q&A.
- Participants: Single speaker
- Focus: Explore critical issues like production, consumer insights, research, labor, trade, policy and technology in a theater setting accessed directly from the Expo Hall.
Important Dates
Presentation submissions are due by September 9 by 11:59 pm ET. (Late submissions will not be accepted, no exceptions.)
Submission notifications will be sent via email by October 11, 2024.
What’s Needed for a Submission
- Category
- Title (No longer than 12 words)
- Promotional Description (100–150-word description of session to be used in promotional materials)
- Speaker(s) and/or panelists. Sessions will not be accepted if any moderators or speakers are TBD.
- Prior to submitting a session, all speakers and/or moderators must be notified and confirmation received they are available to present, if accepted.
- All speakers/panelists are responsible for registering for Potato Expo and travel-related expenses.

The National Potato Council is excited to announce that the Potato Expo 2025 will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida!
The Potato Expo was last held in Orlando in 2018. Based on a recent survey of attendees, Orlando is a top destination for Potato Expo attendees.
Not only are we excited to return to Orlando, our host hotel and convention space – the Orlando World Center Marriott – provides a first-class space to hold an event of our footprint.
The Orlando World Center Marriott offers a column-free 105,000-square-foot exhibit hall with direct access to breakout rooms, where we can create an Expo Hall footprint similar to 2024 and 2023. The hotel features 10 restaurants and lounges. It is located just one mile from Disney Springs, offering 69 dining options, 95 shops, and 25 attractions, shows, and events.
