Working Towards Regenerative Potatoes

Now more than ever, consumers are very interested in learning how their food is grown and this provides a unique opportunity for potato farmers to tell their story. Economic, environmental and consumer preferences are putting increased pressure on farmers to not just be more sustainable but to regenerate the soils that their crops are grown on. This presentation will discuss trends in sustainability as well as provide examples from other industries and many crops but will of course include potatoes. You will leave with items to consider on the journey to move towards regenerative agriculture in the potato food value chain.
